Most people are sending the link/URL to the players and getting the players to view their stats online and live. This is the best way to do it these days since everyone has access to the internet.
You could even cheat a bit - if you have a mailing list for all your players then you could send them a link to the list of players and get them to find their own name so they can see their own stats. This will allow you you to avoid having to send different links to individual players.
For example, you would email all your players this single link:
