I’ve noticed that a large bar has appeared at the bottom of each page on the public web site within the last couple of weeks when it is viewed on a mobile device. Has it been intentionally added? If so, what purpose does it serve and is there a way for me to disable it?
The reason I ask is that it takes up a lot of room on the screen and always hides the last record that is listed when you scroll to the bottom of the page. As you can see from the example below, you can only see 399 records as the 400th one is underneath this new bar.
Hi Matt,
This is a social bar to help your users promote their stats on their social media platforms and puts an easy print and email button within reach. It is good for them and your club/association. It replaces the Facebook like button that was previously at the top of the page. Their is no way to disable it.
However, it should not be blocking off records at the bottom of the page. Can you post up a link to a page where this is happening and let me know what mobile browser/device you are using? I will get it fixed.
Hi Mark,
The bar appears on every page of the public web site and here is an example...

I have found the issue using Safari on both my iPad and iPhone. I don't have an android device to test on I'm afraid, so it may just be an Apple thing?
Thanks for confirming what the new bar is for. I'd never seen it on another web site before and wasn't sure what it was.
Matt
Hi Matt - yesterday I put a little more space in at the bottom of the public web pages so that the bar did not cover the last entry. I also made the bar a bit thinner. It should be better now.
Thanks for that Mark. It looks a lot better now.
