With new the landing page it gives you the option of having the top ranked batter/bowlers or the leading run/wicket takers appearing on this page.

When you select the top run/wicket option the date period is the previous 9 months which honestly doesn't make alot of sense when these sorts of lists are usually based on a season.

Currently our list is starting from mid Nov last year to the end of season which is about Rd 6 to end of season.

I believe it would make more sense to have it based on the current season (during season) or past season (at the end of the season).

This way people could quickly see the leading batters or bowlers for the current season.

Personally I'm not a fan of the ranking system for both batting and bowling - ie multiplying aves by strike rates.
