Hi Mark,
Could I make a formal plea for a reconsideration of the removal of these filters? The change has significantly affected our ability to manage our leagues.
It's not clear at this stage what the benefits of having a single search field is and in our case the number of permutations of competition names, years, club names, etc make the search function more hit-and-miss than is ideal.
Thanks!
Hi Kevin,
With today's update you can now search any combination of any two fields. Please see https://www.cricketstatz.com/support-forum/what-s-new/match-list-filters-admin-panel
If you need further help with this then please post up what you are trying to achieve and I will be happy to help.
Hi Mark,
What happens if we need to search for more than two fields? Or there is no combination that will deliver specifically the fixtures we need to look at? For instance we have a competition named after one of our clubs, so it is impossible to see fixtures for all the teams in that club without having the fixtures from the competition too.
I would repeat that the benefits of the change away from the filters is not clear. What prompted this and is it to be benefits of the customers?
If you have suggestions for improvement then please post up in the suggestions forum and it will get reviewed. You can see that Paul did this recently. Be sure to post specifics around what you are looking for and including an example would be helpful.
Keep in mind that the sole reason for the filters is to reduce the numbers of pages you have to tab through to find the match you are looking for. It is not designed to be a perfect list and will never be.
The reason for the change is documented in the 1st paragraph at https://www.cricketstatz.com/support-forum/what-s-new/match-list-filters-admin-panel
