Team status

I am logging historical data and have got to a stage where many earlier clubs no longer participate in the competition. Am I able to make them inactive in some way as you do for players, without deleting them, so I don't have to scroll through so many?

Thanks for posting here.

You can't make clubs inactive at the moment but tell me, where are you having to scroll through "so many" clubs and I may be able to help with a solution.

Hi, it is as I am making up draws. Our association, in lower grades in particular, had many culbs in and out, in particular through the WW2 years. Along with club name changes, so still the same home club, but may have had a couple of new titles over the years. We go back to 1918. It's not a massive problem, but I know that as I get into the 50s through to the 70s, there are more clubs and team names to come. All good.

Consider doing an upload of the fixtures/draws via a CSV file - this will avoid you having to to select teams manually. You can do this via the Import link at the top of the Matches page.
