Would it be possible to add a function that allows a user to download and save a text report of a match scorecard. They are very handy for media organisations that want to publish a full scorecard in a newspaper as the formatting tools they use is a close match to the text file that used to be available when using the old PC based program.

Have you tried copying the contents of a match report and then pasting it as text-only in a word doc?
For example:

The top scorecard comes from the method suggested, the bottom scorecard comes via the save as text function in the PC version of the program. Formatting isn't comparable really. The example you posted above also has formatting issues.
Let's see how many votes this gets since it will require a complete re-write of the match report.
I am truly surprised to hear that modern publications won't accept HTML files. Formatted text files are so 1980's.
In the meantime, you might have to tidy up the copy/paste plain text manually.
